LSU had a chance with Jared Poche on the mound in game two of the best of three against Florida for the college world series. Poche limited the Gators to only 2 runs through the fifth inning before Zach Hess came in to take over.
LSU had a chance to tie the game in the 7th inning, but Jake Slaughter was called for interference which sent the tying 2-2 run back to third.

To see this LSU team make it to the college world series was a plus, and to see them make it to the final series was even better considering where this team started the season.
